For me, being powerful is everything. I don’t coach just to make people strong for the sake of it - I train shers, real competitors. My group is for those who want to stand on the podium, not just take selfies in the gym. If you’re chasing medals at IPF or PAO events, this is your place.
Who I Coach
I work with men and women aiming for competitive powerlifting in junior or senior categories. You’ve got to be serious about the sport. If you just want to play around, I’m not your guy.
My Training Style
We grind, hard. I’m on the gym floor with you, not just sending routines on WhatsApp. I watch every rep, correct your form, and push you through failures. Main focus: squat, bench, deadlift. I always say, “If you can’t deadlift, what’s the point?” Programs are structured for peak performance, with cycles like my 9-weeks-out plan. Mental toughness is a must. Injuries happen - but a ghayal sher (wounded lion) doesn’t back down.
In-Person and Online
Train with me at Ultimate Gym, Bhubaneswar, with Team Khordha, or go online if you’re outside the city. Online is for self-driven athletes who can stick to the grind.

Hey, I’m Sanjay Nayak. Powerlifter, not a bodybuilder. Winning gold medals is cool, but for me, it’s about being strong, not handsome. I’ve failed plenty, torn muscles, got injured—still here. Powerlifting isn’t a hobby, it’s my life. You gotta be your own biggest supporter, even when nobody’s clapping. Real strength is showing up, no matter what.
