About Portraits with a Soul
We often incorporate 35mm analog film into these sessions because it forces us to slow down and listen. When we shoot on film, every frame counts, which changes the rhythm between us and you. There is no checking the back of the camera, no forced angles, just a genuine, focused conversation captured in grain and light.
True connection does not happen when you are told to look at the camera. It happens when you are looking at each other. Our approach to portraiture is rooted in our anti-pose philosophy—whether we are walking the sand dunes of Jaisalmer or stealing a quiet moment on a city rooftop, we look for the narrative in your interaction.
We blend digital precision with the timelessness of analog photography. By using 35mm film rolls, we invite a deliberate pace to the day, turning portraits into a shared, focused experience rather than a production. We are not interested in making you look like magazine models. We want the version of you that shares a secret laugh or finds comfort in a quiet embrace.
When we document your portraits, we are not just taking photos; we are gathering evidence of who you are right now. We work in the light and shadows of your actual environment, embracing the chaos and the quiet alike. If you value memories that feel like a living moment, and not a studio setup, we would love to be the ones to witness it.
