About Candid Couple Portraits
I know how awkward it feels to stand in front of a camera for an hour. My approach is different: we do not ask you to hold stiff, uncomfortable poses. Instead, we look for the way you naturally lean into each other or the small, shared jokes that make you laugh. If you are comfortable, the photos will look real, and that is what makes a portrait work.
When you look back at your wedding photos years from now, you do not want to remember the photographer telling you to 'chin down' or 'look this way.' You want to remember how you felt.
My team at Weddingzest works with a documentary style. We use Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras and Sigma Art lenses to capture crisp, low-light details without flooding your space with massive lights. We want to be invisible. Whether we are at a sprawling lawn in Mumbai or a venue in Pune, our goal is the same: to catch the fleeting moments of connection that you might miss in the middle of the chaos.
