About The Celebration: Haldi, Sangeet & Parties
During high-energy events like a sangeet or haldi, we never ask you to stop and pose. We use small, quiet Leica cameras that allow us to move through the crowd unnoticed, capturing the raw chaos, frantic marigold showers, and genuine laughter without turning your party into a directed production set.
For us, a wedding isn't just one long event; it's a collection of distinct energies. The haldi is about controlled chaos and the sudden, beautiful mess of turmeric and water. The sangeet is about motion, rhythm, and the unspoken communication between family members on the dance floor. We don't just photograph these scenes; we document the feeling of being there.
Because we only take on a dozen weddings each year, we have the luxury of being fully present for every single ritual. We aren't checking a shot list or waiting for the sun to hit a specific angle. We are waiting for the moment a cousin tears up during a performance or the look on a groom's face when he's surprised by the volume of his own baraat. We shoot on both digital and analog film to give you a mix of crisp detail and nostalgic texture.
We approach these celebrations with the same sensitivity we bring to the quietest moments of the wedding. Whether it's a pool party in Udaipur or a sangeet in Mumbai, our goal is to show you the day exactly as it unfolded. You get images that aren't staged, because we believe the real story of your celebration lies in the messy, unfiltered, and deeply joyful reality of the day. If you want someone to tell you where to stand and how to smile, we might not be the right fit. But if you want a visual record of the 'masti' (fun) that defined your family's gathering, we are here to hold the camera.
