About Family is Everything
We do not wait for the grand stage. The real story often happens when the makeup artist has left the room and it is just a father helping his daughter with her paayal, or a sister holding back tears while fixing a safa. We position ourselves to be part of the furniture, simply there to witness these quiet, foundational moments that define your family dynamic.
A wedding day is rarely just about the bride and groom. It is a mosaic of connections. When we document a family, we are looking for the threads that hold that family together. We see the father who is normally stoic suddenly tear up during a speech, or the younger sibling who becomes the unexpected captain of the ship when things get chaotic. These are the moments that matter ten or twenty years down the line.
We practice a purely documentary approach. This means we do not ask you to pose or act out moments for the camera. We prefer to step back and observe. Whether it is a quiet, contemplative moment in a home before the Anand Karaj or the uncontrollable laughter during a Nikaah, we believe that reality is far more beautiful than anything we could stage.
Our process is rooted in proximity. By limiting the number of weddings we take each year, we ensure we have the time to really know the people we are documenting. We want to know who is the joker in the family, who is the quiet support, and who is the one shedding the happy tears. This allows us to anticipate the moments before they happen. Our goal is to leave you with a collection of images that acts as a time capsule, taking you right back to how your family felt on that exact day.
