About The In-Between: Quiet Moments & Raw Emotions
Most photographers will ask you to look at the camera, but that is where the magic often fades. When we document your day, we focus on the space between the planned rituals. If you see us hanging back while the rest of the crew is busy with the main stage, it is because we are waiting for the real, unguarded interaction that happens when you think no one is watching.
The images you see here are not staged. We believe the true narrative of a wedding lies in the quiet fragments: a father making tea before the chaos starts, a sister getting emotional during the mehendi, or a bride and groom stealing a moment of silence in a crowded room.
We approach this using a mix of digital Leica systems and analog film. Analog photography, in particular, forces us to be intentional. There is no instant playback, no hiding behind a screen. It demands that we feel the moment as it happens. This technique produces a texture and grain that feels timeless, much like the emotions we aim to preserve.
Our process is simple: we blend in. By keeping our equipment minimal and our presence unobtrusive, we allow you to forget we are there. We do not direct, we do not pose, and we certainly do not ask you to fake a smile for the sake of a perfect shot. If you are looking for someone to manage your timeline or pose you for every frame, we might not be the right fit. But if you value an honest, documentary-style record of your family's dynamic—the laughter, the relief, the tears, and the small, human gestures—then we would love to tell that story with you.
