Documentary Photography for Sacred Wedding Rituals
We believe the sanctity of a ceremony lies in the quiet, honest moments between rituals. Whether it is the pheras, a nikaah, or an Anand Karaj, we are there to document the raw emotion of your lifelong promise.
A playful moment during a South Indian wedding ritual as Sapni and Arjun shower each other with rice. We love capturing the fun and laughter that are woven into these sacred ceremonies.
Payal and Udyat walk down the mandap as husband and wife, showered with rose petals by their loved ones. This is the beautiful culmination of their morning wedding ceremony, a moment of pure happiness.
Sandhita and Siddhant after their pheras. The ground is covered in petals, and a dropped mic hints at a funny story. These are the real, unscripted details that make each wedding unique.
The bride's entry is a breathtaking moment. Here, Shaan, in a stunning blue lehenga, walks towards her groom Shubham on a mirrored aisle in Istanbul, a truly cinematic and unforgettable scene.
Sona and Zaheer defy convention, and their wedding was a testament to their love. Here, Sona makes her entry under a phoolon ki chaadar held by her closest friends, a moment of joy and support.
Sona and Zaheer joyfully look over their marriage certificate. This simple document represents a lifetime promise, and their smiles tell the whole story. We focus on these authentic moments of happiness.
The moment it becomes official. Sona and Zaheer share a smile as they sign their marriage registration papers, surrounded by the love and support of their families.
After their nikaah, Ramisa playfully wipes a smudge off Omar's outfit. It's these small, caring gestures and looks of adoration that we seek to capture, telling the story of their connection.
During her nikaah ceremony, Ramisa sits behind a legacy saree, a tradition that separates her from the groom. This shot, framed by the red saree, captures the quiet anticipation and cultural richness of the moment.
Shaan takes her first steps into her new home, a significant moment in the Griha Pravesh ceremony. The bowl of colored water and the rangoli mark the start of her new journey with Shubham's family.
About The Ceremonies: Vows & Rituals
We do not ask you to pose or pause during your ceremony. If the pheras are moving fast, or if a laugh erupts during your vows, we capture exactly that. Our goal is to photograph the ritual as it unfolds, ensuring your focus remains entirely on your partner and the promises you are making to each other, rather than on our cameras.
The beauty of a wedding ceremony is rarely found in the instruction of a photographer. It lives in the fleeting glances shared at the altar, the way your hands tremble as you exchange rings, or the silence of a prayer. Because we shoot documentary-style, we move quietly, using our gear as tools for observation rather than intervention.
Whether you are planning an intimate Anand Karaj with traditional hymns, a solemn Nikaah, or the seven steps of the pheras, our approach remains the same. We are there to witness, not to direct. We use high-performance Leica systems that allow us to work in low light without harsh flashes, ensuring we never distract from the spiritual atmosphere of your ritual.
For our films, we capture real-time audio—your vows, the ambient sounds of the venue, and the laughter of family—so that when you watch it back, you aren't just seeing a highlight reel. You are transported back to the exact feeling of standing there. We limit our bookings to only a dozen weddings a year, which gives us the time to understand your family dynamics and cultural nuances beforehand. This lets us anticipate the moments that matter most to you, allowing us to capture the depth of your story with total honesty.
