About Destination Diaries
We don't scout locations for postcards; we follow your lead. If you want to ride the London Tube in your wedding attire or run through the rain in Bali, we are right there with you. Our goal is to document the authentic, unscripted energy of your adventure, not to stage it for the perfect social media shot. Your destination is the canvas, but your relationship is the story we are there to tell.
When we travel for a wedding, our approach remains the same as it is in our home city. We aren't interested in moving you from spot to spot for clichéd portraits against famous backdrops. We believe the character of a destination adds depth to your story, but only when it is part of your real experience.
The Documentary Approach
Whether we are shooting in the heat of a Jaisalmer palace or amidst the grey skies of London, our gear remains minimal. We prioritize blending in. By keeping a low profile, we capture the moments that actually matter: the way you look at each other while navigating a new city, the comfort you find in your partner during a chaotic Baraat in a foreign land, and the genuine laughter shared with family away from home.
Why We Limit Our Travel
We only accept a dozen weddings each year. This is a deliberate choice. It allows us to be fully present with you and your family, without the fatigue of a rushed schedule. It ensures that when we arrive at your destination, we aren't just photographers—we are there as friends who understand your vision and are ready to capture the nuances of your celebration.
What We Look For
We seek out couples who value honest, intimate storytelling over spectacle. If you are planning an adventurous elopement in the mountains or a traditional ceremony in a heritage property, we are interested in how that setting influences your emotions. We focus on the connection, the light, and the raw truth of your day, wherever on the map it happens to be.
