Sparring Sessions at Sai Boxing Academy
This is where theory meets reality. We offer supervised sparring in our outdoor boxing ring for students ready to test their technique.

Here, two clients are engaged in a technical sparring drill on the mats. The focus is on controlled punches and footwork, essential for developing ring intelligence.
This clip captures the intensity of a sparring match between two of our boxers. This is where all the training in pad work, bag work, and conditioning comes together.
Sparring isn't just physical, it's a mental game. This session shows our boxers thinking on their feet, reacting to their opponent's moves, and staying focused under pressure.
From rest to readiness. A client takes a moment before getting up to practice his shadow boxing and movement inside the ring, a crucial part of fight preparation.
About In the Ring: Sparring Sessions
Sparring isn't just about throwing punches, it is a mental game. We don't just put you in the ring to get hit. You start sparring only when your technique and conditioning are solid, because safety in our outdoor ring is my priority.
You have spent hours on the pads and heavy bags, but it means nothing until you are in front of a live opponent. At our outdoor boxing ring in Katwaria Sarai and Hauz Khas, we maintain a strictly controlled environment. You will be wearing full headgear and proper gloves because my goal is that you go home better, not broken.
We do not believe in vanity boxing or showing off. Whether you are a beginner looking to understand distance and timing or an athlete preparing for a bout, our sparring drills focus on technique over aggression. You will learn to control your breath, keep your guard up when you are tired, and execute combinations under pressure.
Many people ask about the outdoor aspect. Training in the open air with the mitti under your feet keeps you grounded. It builds a different kind of stamina that gym walls cannot replicate. If you are ready to stop hitting bags and start learning how to move with an opponent, this is the place. We do not run a fight club; we run a boxing academy for people who actually want to learn the sweet science.
