Body Banegi Yahan: Raw Outdoor Boxing Training
No AC, no mirrors, no frills. We build fighters and real strength in the open air, just like the old-school akhada style.
This is how we build explosive strength. A student performs sledgehammer slams on a large tyre, a high-intensity workout for the core, back, and arms.
A student unleashes powerful punches on the heavy bag. This drill is essential for developing knockout power and cardiovascular endurance.
Sprint day at the academy. We incorporate running drills for all age groups to build speed, agility, and the stamina needed for a tough fight.
A young student works on his footwork and cardio by skipping. The jump rope is a classic and essential tool for any boxer.
A look at our morning conditioning routine. This includes running, bodyweight squats, and partner exercises to build functional strength.
No shortcuts, just hard work. Students doing various bodyweight exercises like pushups and core work on the matted area under a coach's supervision.
About Body Banegi Yahan (The Body is Built Here)
This is not about looking good for the camera. We use tractor tyres, sledgehammers, and open-ground sprints because functional strength is built in the dirt, not on a machine. You will sweat, you will get tired, and you will get stronger.
At Sai Boxing Academy, we do not believe in fancy memberships or gym culture. This is an akhada. Training under the open sky in Katwaria Sarai and near Deer Park means you are dealing with natural elements, which builds a different kind of endurance.
Why Train This Way?
- Functional Power: Hitting a heavy bag is only half the battle. We use tractor tyres and sledgehammers to build core stability and explosive power that transfers directly into your punches.
- Conditioning: Our sprints and calisthenics are done on the ground, not on treadmills. This forces you to control your own body weight, improving agility and cardiovascular health for real-world situations.
- Old-School Discipline: Boxing is a mental game. By training without the distractions of an AC gym, you focus purely on the technique, the guard, and the footwork. Whether you are coming for fitness or to learn the sweet science of boxing, the standard remains the same: hard work only.
We train in groups, but the attention is personal. Vinay and I are always on the floor with you, correcting your form and pushing you through the reps. If you are ready to put in the work, you are welcome. If you are looking for an easy route, this is not the place for you.
