Mud Court Foundation Training
Training Environment
- Surface: Traditional prepared mud (Mitti) court aimed at resistance training.
- Schedule: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday).
- Session Length: 2.5 to 3 hours per session (Late afternoon/evening).
- Group: Large batch training (20 to 30 students) for collective drills.
Physical Conditioning
- Endurance: 3 to 5km distance running and interval sprints on uneven ground.
- Strength: Desi Dands (pushups), squats, and partner carry drills.
- Agility: Tire dragging and ladder footwork drills.
Basic Technical Skills
- Raiding: Footwork patterns, cant (breath control), and basic hand touches.
- Defense: Ankle holds and chain formation basics.
- Practice: Sparring matches on the mud surface.
Professional Mat & Tournament Prep
Professional Infrastructure
- Surface: Access to Standard Kabaddi Mats (EVA Foam) to replicate National tournament conditions.
- Footwear: Guidance on required non marking mat shoes (purchase required separately).
Advanced Skill Specialization
- Raiding Moves: Instruction on high technical skills including The Dubki (ducking under chains) and The Lion Jump (aerial escape).
- Defensive Tactics: Timing for Super Tackles, Double Thigh Holds, and Dash moves.
- Analysis: Informal video review of practice clips to correct posture.
Competition Readiness
- Selection: Priority preference for representing the academy in District, State, and Open tournaments.
- Scrimmages: Full contact practice matches with refereeing to simulate pressure.
- Diet: Verbal guidance on nutrition for maintaining specific weight categories (U 60kg, U 19, etc).

Who Trains Here
- Sub-juniors: We start with basics, making sure the foundation is solid.
- Juniors (Under-19): Focused on kabaddi championship prep, especially for big tournaments like SFA.
- Seniors: Training is hardcore, aimed at district and state level wins.
Skills We Build
- Raiders: You’ll learn kabaddi raider training moves like Jump, Dubki, and sharp Turning. No shortcuts, only asli (real) skills.
- Defenders: Defensive kabaddi techniques like Double Thai Hold, Super Tackle, and Dash. Our defense is a wall, simple.
Fitness & Surfaces
- Daily kabaddi fitness drills for strength and stamina. No skipping, no excuses.
- We train on both mat and mud kabaddi coaching grounds. Players here are tayyar (ready) for any surface, any time.

My Story
Main Subodh Nagar, Sadbhavna Kabaddi Academy ka coach hoon. Kabaddi hi meri zindagi hai, bhai. Vasundhara Enclave ki mitti mein hum roz paseena bahaate hain - dosti bhi, competition bhi. Hamare ladke Gazipur district se lekar CBSE nationals tak medals laate hain. Yahan team spirit hai, ek dusre ko support karte hain. Trophy ho ya haar, bas khelna hai, jeetna hai. Aur yahi junoon hai.
