About Festive & Occasion Wear
Every festive piece starts with a conversation at my Sadashivnagar studio. Because these outfits are made to order, I focus on the little things, like adjusting the neck depth to suit your comfort or matching the embroidery to your existing saree. Since everything is stitched individually, we will spend time during our appointment getting your measurements and fabric choices perfect before I start.
My Approach to Festive Style
Festivals like Dasara, Diwali, and Navratri call for outfits that are comfortable enough for long celebrations but striking enough to stand out. I lean towards classic Indian fabrics like pure Tussar silk, Banarasi brocade, and velvet because they hold embroidery beautifully.
Customization Options
- Blouses: I specialize in heavy zardosi, aari, and cutwork. If you have a specific neckline in mind, like a sweetheart, pot, or high neck, we can sketch it out together.
- Coordinated Sets: Whether you need a blouse to match a family heirloom saree or a complete fusion gown for a sangeet, I create looks that feel personal to you.
- Embroidery: I love incorporating traditional motifs. I often use pearls, sequins, and fine thread work to ensure the detail is visible and adds that royal touch.
Getting Started
Since I work out of my studio in Sadashivnagar by appointment, I can give you my full attention. We will discuss the vibe you want, look at fabric swatches, and plan the stitching. Because every outfit is made from scratch for your body, I recommend booking your consultation at least 20 days before your event to ensure we have enough time for fittings and adjustments.
