Custom Hand-Embroidered Wedding Sherwani Set
The Main Outfit (Sherwani)
- Fabric: Premium Raw Silk or Matka Silk blend available in cream, gold, or ivory palette.
- Embroidery: Intricate hand-embroidery (Zardosi, French Knot, or Aari work) on collar, cuffs, and front placket with scattered motifs.
- Structure: Heavy canvas fusing and satin or butter crepe lining for a stiff, wrinkle-free regal shape.
- Finishing: Concealed hooks and antique-finish metal buttons.
The Bottoms
- Style: Custom-stitched Dhoti (Panche) with gold zari border or tailored Chudidhar pants.
- Fit: Elasticated or drawstring waist with reinforced crotch stitching.

If you’re stressing about what to wear for each function, I’ve got you. I design everything - from a classic sherwani for the main ceremony to a modern groom cocktail tuxedo for your party nights. Need a custom dhoti set for groom for that South Indian vibe? I do that too. I can put together a full wedding trousseau so you don’t have to run around last minute.

My thing is embroidery. I use zardosi, beads, and fine threadwork - not just on the outfit, but on accessories too. If you want something personal, I can add initials or motifs that mean something to you.
Couple Coordination
If you want your outfit to match your partner’s, I’ll work with you both to get the colours, fabrics, and embroidery styles just right. That way, you look good together in every photo.

My Story
Hey, I’m Lavanya, and this is Rithi Design Studio - my little world in Sadashivnagar. ‘Rithi’ means tradition, and that’s what I’m all about. I get a kick out of hand embroidery, especially for weddings. There’s nothing like seeing a bride, groom, or even a tiny tot light up in something we made. Every piece is personal here, stitched with a lot of heart (and chai breaks).
