About Custom Lehengas & Half-Sarees

Every lehenga I design is fully customized, from the choice of fabrics like Banarasi brocade or raw silk to the density of the hand embroidery on your blouse. We’ll schedule 1–2 trial sessions to ensure the waist fit and skirt flare are exactly how you imagined, so you feel comfortable and confident from the first dance to the last photo.

Creating your dream outfit is a collaborative process at my studio. We start with a 1:1 chat to sketch out your ideas and select materials, ensuring the end result is uniquely yours. My designs focus on balancing traditional silhouettes—like the voluminous umbrella-cut skirt or box-pleated Banarasi lehenga—with a modern, personalized touch.

Why go custom?

  • Fabric & Flare: For that perfect volume, I use double lining (satin and cotton) plus a layer of hard net (can-can) to keep your skirt full throughout the event.
  • Hand-Embroidered Blouses: Your blouse is the heart of the outfit. I work with Zardosi, Aari, and beadwork to create patterns that match your skirt's motifs. Whether you prefer a sweetheart neck or a heavy-back design, it’s all stitched to your exact measurements.
  • Fitting Process: I know how frustrating bad fittings can be. That is why I include trial sessions in my process. We adjust the waist, the length based on your heels, and the drape of the dupatta so everything sits just right.

From vibrant festive sets for family celebrations to intricate, heavy-work lehengas for brides, I work with silk, Tussar, and velvet. If you have a specific color combination in mind—like the classic red and purple half-saree or a modern mauve fusion set—we can make it happen. Based in Sadashivnagar, Bengaluru, I ship custom ensembles across India.
