In my Kabaddi sessions, we move beyond just scrimmage games. I focus on specific motor skills, explosive leg power for effective raids, and reaction time drills that define a strong defender. Whether you are a student building your base or an aspiring player sharpening your tactical awareness, my training ensures you handle the physical demands of the mat safely.
Kabaddi requires more than just raw strength. It demands explosive agility, precise body control, and the mental toughness to handle pressure in a split second. At Risers Academy, we treat it as a technical discipline.
Our Training Approach
We break the game down into its core components. My sessions include:
- Explosive Power: Plyometric drills and sandpit exercises to build the leg strength required for powerful raids.
- Technical Drills: Master the hand touch, the toe touch, and defensive locking techniques under expert supervision.
- Agility & Coordination: Using agility ladders and cones to ensure you can turn and react faster than your opponent.
- Match Simulation: We run our own 'Sunday Kabaddi Club' where students test what they have learned in competitive match settings. This helps you build confidence and game sense.
