Hip mobility is crucial for every athletic event. We use hurdle drills at basic, advanced, and professional levels to improve flexibility and range of motion.

Coaching is my passion. Here, I am leading personalized agility drills with an athlete, using cones and hurdles to improve footwork and reaction time.

We use specific hurdle and sandpit protocols to identify imbalances in your movement before they turn into injuries. Whether you are prepping for a 100m sprint or field sports, these sessions force you to correct your gait and build genuine, functional power.

How We Build Athletes

At Risers Academy, we treat strength and conditioning as the non-negotiable foundation for every sport. We avoid generic gym workouts and focus on movement patterns that transfer directly to the field or track.

Our Core Training Modalities:

  • Hurdle Mobility: We don't just use hurdles for jumping. Our specific mobility drills (basic to professional levels) are designed to open up the hips, increase stride length, and improve coordination.
  • Sandpit Stability: The unstable surface of the sand is our best tool for ankle and leg strength. It forces your stabilizer muscles to work harder, which is crucial for injury prevention in contact sports like Kabaddi or wrestling.
  • Plyometric Power: We use box jumps, depth jumps, and medicine ball work to train the nervous system for explosive movement. This is how you develop the 'snap' required to beat an opponent to the ball or accelerate out of a starting block.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this suitable for beginners? Yes. We scale the intensity. If you are starting at 4 years old, we focus on motor skills and coordination. If you are a competitive athlete, we push you through high-intensity resistance and gait analysis.

What if I have an old injury? We emphasize injury prevention. If you have recurring issues, our NS-NIS certified team integrates rehab protocols and PNF stretching to ensure you aren't training through pain but moving past it.

Where is training held? We operate at the Ramsheth Thakur International Sports Complex and outdoor grounds in Sector 8, Ulwe. We maintain small group sizes (15-20) to ensure I can watch your form.
