When you book Ravi Chary Crossing, you are bringing a 5-member ensemble to your stage. We require a 60-minute sound check before the event and a full backline including a drum kit, bass amp, keyboard stand, and at least 5-6 monitors to ensure our Indo-Jazz fusion sound hits with the right clarity and punch.

Ravi Chary Crossing is where I allow my sitar to move beyond the boundaries of traditional classical constraints. While my roots are firmly planted in the Etawah and Jafferkhani baaz, this ensemble allows for a conversation between the East and the West.

The Fusion Sound

The band is designed to offer a different energy than my solo recitals. I pair the sitar with a Western drum kit, bass guitar, and keyboards, supported by the traditional tabla. This combination allows us to explore original compositions and fresh rearrangements that work well for corporate events, product launches, and music festivals.
