About Sitar Fusion: Rock, Electronic & Global Collaborations
For this fusion ensemble, I perform with a keyboardist and a percussionist to build a full sound that works as a concert set, not just background ambiance. Because we use electric sitars and electronic backing, we require a standard backline like drum hardware and amplifiers at your venue. We do not play quiet dinner music; this is a high-energy performance designed for when you want your guests to watch, listen, and engage.
While my roots are in Hindustani classical music, this fusion ensemble allows me to explore the bridge between ancient raags and contemporary soundscapes. Whether it is adding a sitar layer to a rock set with bands like Parikrama or blending electronica at festivals, the goal is always to keep the performance dynamic.

The Process
I curate the setlist based on your event vibe. We can lean into Bollywood instrumentals for a familiar touch, or go deep into folktronica if you prefer something edgier. Since I am Delhi-NCR based, I handle the logistics for local shows smoothly, but I am fully equipped to travel across India with the ensemble. We usually arrive at least one hour before the show for a technical setup to ensure the sound levels are perfectly balanced for your venue.
