I bridge worlds by blending the timeless soul of the sitar with contemporary sounds, creating a unique vibe for any space.

An offer you can't refuse: my sitar rendition of "The Godfather" theme, live in New York. It was a joy to perform this iconic piece with a full band, including a mandolin and saxophone, for a true fusion sound.

About Classical Roots, Modern Sound

I do not just cover songs, I re-compose them for the sitar. Whether it is a lo-fi Bollywood track or a cinematic theme like 'Game of Thrones,' I identify the raga that captures the exact emotional frequency of the original. We then build the live production around that, balancing the acoustic soul of my custom Rikhi Ram instrument with the punch of modern percussion or backing loops to ensure the energy stays right for your crowd.

My goal is to make ancient music relevant to a new generation, without stripping away its depth. This isn't background music; it is a live experience designed to connect. When you hire me for a fusion concert, you are not getting a static performance. You are getting a journey that shifts gears from introspective, meditative classical melodies to high-energy, contemporary anthems.

From playing for 15,000 people in Ahmedabad to intimate candlelit halls in New York, the setup adapts to the space. For smaller, private settings, I keep it acoustic and raw, focusing on the dialogue between the sitar and the tabla. For larger, full-band shows, we introduce drums, bass, and keys to create that 'Sitar Sorcerer' sound—a mix of pop culture anthems and spiritual chants that keeps people hooked.

Technically, I am meticulous. I perform on custom-crafted sitars built by my father, Sanjay Rikhiram, and I work with Tier-A accompanists to ensure the sound is crisp. If you are worried about whether this fits your event, let's talk. Whether you need a low-key, soulful vibe for a lounge gathering or a full-scale concert experience that gets the crowd moving, we can tailor the setlist to the mood you want to set. No L’s, only W’s—we are here to create an experience your guests will actually remember.

I'm Rishab, and I grew up in a family of sitar makers, breathing in the sound of wood and strings. My music isn't about keeping tradition in a glass case, it's about making it breathe in a modern world.
