Kids Music Workshops & Summer Camps in Bengaluru
I create fun, interactive spaces where kids explore music, rhythm, and storytelling. My goal is to help every child find their voice and build confidence, free from stage fear.
Leading a circle time session at the Kalabhiruchi Shibira summer camp. My goal is to create an energetic and interactive space where kids can learn music fundamentals and overcome any shyness together.

Look at these curious faces. This is the best part of teaching at the Kalabhiruchi Shibira. Seeing children completely absorbed in the music and activities makes everything worthwhile.

Here I am with a group of students, guiding them through a song. We often break into smaller groups to ensure everyone gets a chance to shine.

About Kids Workshops & Summer Camps
My sessions at the Kalabhiruchi Shibira are designed to take the pressure off. We use circle time, simple rhythm games, and gesture-based learning so that even shy kids feel safe exploring their voice, allowing them to build stage confidence naturally.
Learning music shouldn't feel like a chore. Whether it is our intensive summer camps in Hanumanthanagar or regular workshops, I focus on making the arts approachable. We mix vocal training with theatre, dance, and art, ensuring every child finds a medium that clicks for them.
What We Cover
- Foundations: We start with basics like pronunciation, shloka chanting, and simple rhythm cycles (talam).
- Confidence Building: Through group drills and microphone handling practice, I help children move past the shyness that often comes with performing.
- Repertoire: Students learn a variety of devotional songs, bhajans, and patriotic numbers. I provide printed lyric booklets so they can practice at home.
- Interactive Learning: My classes are non-judgmental. We focus on listening, participation, and collective learning rather than rigid perfection.
Setting & Atmosphere
These workshops take place in traditional, community hall settings that allow for natural ventilation and floor seating. This creates a grounded, focused atmosphere that helps children connect with our traditional values. Parents can look forward to a final showcase on the last day, where we celebrate what the kids have learned together.
