Creative and Cultural Programs for Children
We believe that art, music, and cultural traditions are the windows through which children explore the world. At Chimes, creative expression is how our children discover their unique voice, build confidence, and connect with their community.

About this collection
You will notice our approach to creativity isn't about perfectly finished crafts; it’s about the process. Whether it’s a toddler painting during Kaleidoscope Week or children performing a dance for Janmashtami, we focus on the joy of the attempt rather than the final outcome. This pressure-free environment builds the self-confidence children need to express themselves freely.
Montessori at Chimes goes beyond standard academics. Our creative and cultural curriculum is designed to support the whole child. When we celebrate festivals like Janmashtami or Independence Day, it is not just about costumes or performances. It is an immersive learning experience. For instance, dressing up as Radha and Krishna or participating in group dances helps children develop rhythm, coordination, and a deeper understanding of cultural history through storytelling and movement.
Our Kaleidoscope Week is a prime example of our process-driven art. We do not ask children to color inside rigid lines; we invite them to explore texture, medium, and color through hands-on discovery. By integrating yoga and music daily, we help children regulate their emotions and build concentration. Located right here on Pattalamma Temple Road in Basavanagudi, our 6,000 sq ft outdoor space often becomes the stage for these activities. We invite you to see how this balance of structure and freedom creates an environment where creativity flourishes naturally, helping children discover their interests at their own pace.
Chimes Montessori
We have spent over a decade building Chimes into a second home where children lead the way. We believe that when a child feels respected and safe, their natural curiosity about art, music, and culture shines through, creating a foundation for learning that lasts a lifetime.
