When I approach a shoot, I focus on building a visual narrative rather than just picking outfits. Whether it is managing complex garment draping for a lehenga campaign or sourcing specific avant-garde accessories for a high-fashion editorial, my team and I prioritize the technical details—clamping, taping, and fit correction—to ensure every frame looks polished before the shutter clicks.
For me, styling is about building a visual story. Whether I am conceptualizing a high-fashion editorial for a magazine or directing a brand lookbook, the goal is always to create a distinct mood that translates the garment's intent into an image.
My portfolio spans diverse aesthetics—from the raw, introspective portraits of actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui to the bold, architectural cuts of high-fashion collaborations like Mugler x H&M. I balance these edgy projects with opulent Indian wear, working with intricate embroidery and heritage textiles for brands like House of R.
Success in professional styling relies on more than just aesthetic choices. It requires rigorous pre-production. For commercial projects, this involves rapid-change planning and fit corrections on set. For designer campaigns, I focus on complex draping, accessory sourcing, and collaborating with makeup and hair artists to ensure the overall look aligns with the garment's silhouette.
A shoot is never a solo effort. I work closely with photographers, art directors, and my styling assistants to manage the chaos of production. Whether in a studio in Delhi or on location in Mumbai, we ensure every technical detail—from managing garment trains to fixing pleats—is handled so the final image remains clean and impactful.
