About Brand Lookbooks & Commercial Styling
Speed matters in commercial shoots, so we focus on rapid, precise execution. For a typical day, my team and I handle 15 to 20 looks per 8-hour shift, ensuring every garment is steamed, clamped for fit, and sequenced before the shoot begins.
Commercial styling is fundamentally different from editorial work. It requires a rigid focus on product visibility, garment fit, and brand consistency. When we partner on a lookbook or campaign, I ensure the clothes look as good in the final output as they do on the hanger.
My Approach to Commercial Shoots
- E-Commerce Precision: For catalog shoots, the goal is clarity. I use on-spot tailoring hacks like clamping and taping to make sure every outfit fits perfectly for the camera, eliminating the need for post-production editing.
- Volume Management: When you have 20 looks to get through in a single day, logistics are everything. My team manages the rail, steaming, and changing process so you can keep the photographer and the model moving without downtime.
- Campaign Narratives: Even in commercial work, the styling needs to sell a lifestyle. I translate your brand brief into a cohesive visual story, whether it’s a clean studio backdrop or an outdoor setting that gives your collection context.
