About Flow Arts Workshops & Training
Why Flow Arts?
For me, flow arts isn’t just about looking cool or nailing tricks. It’s a way to reconnect with play, get into your body, and find your own rhythm. I picked up poi and props pretty late myself, and honestly, I still get that childlike excitement every time I move. If you think you’re too old or too clumsy, trust me, you’re not - everyone’s got a flow.
How We Can Learn Together
- Group workshops (focused on beginner poi classes and silk fans): Dive into prop manipulation skills in a chilled-out group. Sometimes I bring in other teachers so you get a taste of different props in a single session.
- Structured courses: For those who want more than a taste, I run beginner journeys where you learn basics, then level up to making your own flow routines. We end with a duet jam - always a blast.
- 1:1 sessions: Private training for both adults and kids. I especially love watching kids come up with their own moves - it’s all about making learning playful.
Special Fire Jam
At the end of many workshops, you can watch a fire spinning experience. If you’re ready, I guide you through spinning fire yourself - safely, of course. It’s wild, but safe, and something you won’t forget.
Where & How
Mostly, I teach at Bangalore Creative Circus in Yeshwantpur, but I do travel for festivals and gatherings across India. My workshops are about support, fun, and actually getting moving - no super serious vibes, just real people learning together.

My Story
Namaskara! Swaroop here. I started spinning Staff on festival streets as a kid, just chasing that wild energy. From tiny practice corners to huge stages – I’ve seen it all, and honestly, I still give it my full heart every time. My flow isn’t perfect, and I’m cool with that now. Spinning is my meditation, my way to chill with my thoughts. Sharing this joy with my flowmies, watching them grow – that’s the real trip for me.
My Work
Fire & LED Flow Arts Shows - I do Fire Poi, Dragon Staff, LED Buugeng acts, and even full LED suit performances for any event.
Custom Choreography and Workshops - I create partner acts and run beginner Poi workshops, helping folks find their own flow.
The Vibe I Bring - Weddings, music festivals, or chill pub gigs – I match the space’s energy, always.
Movement Medicine Philosophy - For me, flow arts is about finding peace, letting go, and letting movement speak louder than words.
