1-Day Intro to Flow Arts
Core Training
- Duration: 4.5 hours of contact time, typically on a Sunday.
- Curriculum: 90 minutes dedicated to each prop (Dapostar, Hula Hoop, and Poi).
- Skills: Hand-eye coordination, waist hooping mechanics, and basics of tethered weights.
Equipment & Venue
- Props: Full usage of studio-quality HDPE Hoops, Practice Poi, and Canvas Dapostars.
- Venue: Access to a premium wellness studio with wooden flooring suitable for barefoot movement.
Soft Inclusions
- Neuro-Cooling: Short breaks designed to reset motor functions.
- Guidance: Led by Aditi Bhat with support from specialist guest instructors.
4-Week Comprehensive Flow Course
Curriculum & Schedule
- Timing: 8 sessions spread over 4 consecutive weekends (Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings).
- Instruction: Approximately 18 hours of guided technical training.
- Prop Mastery: Covers complex folding patterns (Dapo), 2-beat/3-beat weaves (Poi), and on-body sustainment (Hoop).
Pedagogy
- Methodology: Integration of STEM concepts (geometry, rhythm math) into movement learning.
- Feedback: Direct correction from specialist instructors for Theory, Dapo, and Poi.

4-Day Immersive Flow Retreat

- Stay: 3 Nights accommodation at a 100-acre farm estate (Shared/Dorm style).

Why I Do This
Flow arts, for me, is where science, art, and a little bit of madness meet. I see the hoop as more than a prop - it’s a way to understand how my mind and body connect. I won’t pretend to be perfect, and I don’t expect you to be either. Some days the moves flop, injuries act up, but the fun is always real.

- Weekend Deep Dive: My “Flow Arts: Basics & Beyond” is an 8-session course over four weekends. We get into beginner hula hoop classes, Poi spinning basics, and Dapostar - you’ll build confidence and learn the real basics.
- One-Day Sampler: Try out a single session if you’re just testing the waters.
- Hula Hoop Alignment: Six weeks, eight classes - focus on hooping, learn alignment, make your own combos, and maybe even perform at the end.
- Retreats and Flow Fests: For those wanting a full-blown creative movement retreat, I host immersive sessions that go deep on both skills and mental reset.

My Story
Hoops have been my thing since I was six. Math, design, movement - for me, they all mix up. I used to think math was a pain, but now I see patterns in every toss. Spinfinity grew out of me wanting to break those walls - art and math, both can be wild and beautiful. I’m not perfect, and I don’t pretend. My flowmies and I, we mess up, we laugh, we learn. That’s real.
