Hello, I'm Bharat Dham, the founder. I started Punjabi Rasoi to bring true North Indian food to Bangalore. I'm a cook myself, and I promise that our food is made with passion and consistency.

About Our Story: The Heart of Punjabi Rasoi
When I started Punjabi Rasoi back in 2000, I made a promise to my kitchen: no shortcuts and no fusion. I am still the same cook checking the tadka today, ensuring that whether you order from our Indiranagar or Koramangala outlet, the Dal Makhani tastes exactly the same as it did on day one.
It started with a simple ambition: bring the North Indian taste I grew up with to Bangalore. Back then, I was the one standing by the stove, perfecting the ratios of ginger, garlic, and the specific masalas we use in our Dal Makhani. Today, even with over 10 branches across the city, the kitchen process hasn't changed.
We do not do fusion. We do not change the spice levels to suit new trends. When you order from us, you get the same creamy Butter Chicken and smoky Tandoori Chicken that we served when we first opened. For me, cooking is about pura parivaar—the whole family. It is about ensuring that a quick lunch for one or a big feast for a celebration feels like ghar ka khana (home-cooked food).
