Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Whitefield, Bangalore
A 200-hour journey beyond the mat, rooted in tradition and designed for those ready to find their own path. Join our non-residential Hatha Yoga training in Whitefield.
Every training begins with the sacred tradition of lighting the Diya. This flame symbolizes the light of knowledge and serves as a witness to the journey of self-discovery we are about to embark on together.
A glimpse into the first day of our 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. The lighting of the lamp marks a commitment to the practice and to the shared path of learning and transformation that lies ahead.
The warm glow of the Diya fills our space as a new teacher training commences. We begin with open minds and sincere hearts, ready to embrace the profound teachings of Hatha Yoga.
A look back at the first week of our training. You can already feel the energy of connection and discovery as students settle into the rhythm of practice, discussion, and shared growth.
In our practice, we move from information to knowledge, and finally to wisdom. This video shows our students in a synchronized flow, turning theoretical concepts into embodied experience.
Being a beginner is a powerful stage of unlearning and relearning. Here, our students embrace the challenge with grace, building new patterns of strength and awareness one breath at a time.
A teacher training is not just for those who wish to teach. Many join to deepen their personal practice, build self-awareness, and connect with the profound purpose of yoga on a deeper level.
About this collection
We avoid the rush of typical certification courses. Our 200-hour Hatha Yoga training in Whitefield runs for 7 to 8 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. By keeping our groups small and our schedule consistent, we focus on helping you build a personal Sadhana (daily practice) and a teaching methodology that feels authentic to your own body, rather than just copying a manual.
From Information to Wisdom
Most courses prioritize memorization, but we believe in moving from information to knowledge, and finally to wisdom. Our Teacher Training Journey at the Garden of Samskaras is designed to help you integrate yoga into your life, whether your goal is to teach professionally or simply to deepen your personal practice.
What We Cover
- Asana & Alignment: We go beyond shapes. You will learn to observe the body, understand biomechanics, and provide adjustments that prioritize safety and long-term practice.
- Pranayama & Shatkarma: Practical training in breath retention, ratios, and traditional cleansing techniques (Jala Neti and Sutra Neti) to quiet the mind.
- Philosophy in Practice: We do not just skim ancient texts. We discuss the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Yoga Sutras, exploring how they apply to the challenges of modern life.
- Teaching Methodology: Through hands-on practicum sessions with peer feedback, you will find your own voice as a guide.
The Logistics
This is a non-residential, Yoga Alliance (RYS 200) accredited program. We value consistency, which is why we hold sessions during weekday mornings in Whitefield. We provide a comprehensive manual, a Shatkarma kit, and access to all necessary props.
We start every batch with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, not just as a ritual, but as a reminder of the commitment we are making together. If you feel the pull, we invite you to inquire—we prefer to have a short conversation with every prospective student to ensure this is the right timing for your growth.
Pratyaksha Yoga
We are Pratyaksha Yoga, and we see teaching as a way to share the light we have found on our own mats. We do not hand out answers here. We guide you to ask the right questions so you can develop a voice that is uniquely your own.
