About Additional Media
You will notice that we conduct all training sessions on EVA puzzle mats, not hard floors. This setup is crucial for our students, allowing them to practice high-intensity kicks, full splits, and takedowns safely while minimizing impact. It is about pushing limits without the risk of injury, which is how we maintain safety across our Ulwe locations.
What you see in these images is the reality of our routine at Powerstar Taekwondo Academy. We believe that champions are built through repetition, discipline, and a supportive environment.
Why Our Training Looks Like This
- Fundamental Drills: Whether it is punch synchronization or footwork speed, we start with the basics. Every student learns the Korean terminology like Charyeot (attention) and Junbi (ready stance) to build a mindset of respect and focus.
- Safe Sparring: We use protective gear, including Hogu (chest guards) and headgear, during all contact sessions. This allows students to learn timing, distance, and combat strategy without fear of getting hurt.
- Competitive Edge: The tournament photos you see are not just about winning medals. They represent the mental toughness our students develop when they step onto the mat. Whether it is a school-level event or a state championship, I am there in the corner, guiding them through every win or loss.
Our Philosophy
I often tell my students, 'kick मारते time' (while kicking), you have to turn your waist and keep your leg straight. It is not just physical technique; it is a lesson in control and precision.
We train in small, energetic batches because I want to give every student individual attention. My goal is simple: I want every child who walks in as a beginner to leave with the confidence of a black belt. Whether you are looking for fitness, self-defense skills, or competitive coaching, we focus on real results in our training halls across Navi Mumbai.
