At Powerstar Taekwondo Academy, we turn training into a celebration of friendship and growth. It is more than just belts and kicks—it is about building a supportive family where every child feels they belong.

The energy and excitement as students arrive for class. They are always happy to be here.

We even have fun with games like "Red Light, Green Light" from Squid Game. It's all about making training enjoyable.

A look back at the end of our training for 2024, with students running together and celebrating a year of hard work.

A group photo of my students, a family of disciplined and confident individuals.

The whole team posing together in their fighting stances. The unity and energy are clear to see.

Parents watching their children practice, showing the supportive community we have built at our academy.

A class in session, with other students waiting their turn, creating an atmosphere of shared learning.

Students demonstrating their form in front of an audience of parents and younger kids, inspiring the next generation.

About Academy Life: Fun, Friends & Family

It is not just sweat and discipline here. Sometimes, the session breaks for a round of Red Light, Green Light, or a quick game to keep the energy high. These moments are a key part of my teaching strategy—they build rapport, keep kids coming back with smiles, and prove that discipline and joy can actually go hand-in-hand.

Building a foundation in Taekwondo requires more than just repeating kicks; it requires an environment where students feel safe to fail, learn, and grow together. At Powerstar Taekwondo Academy, I focus on creating a community where the class feels like a second family.

Why Fun Matters

Some people say 'Sports ko time pass bolne wale log' (people call sports a pastime), but for us, it is everything. I know that if a child is bored or stressed, they won't learn. By mixing in games and fun activities, I ensure that my students stay happy and engaged. When they are laughing, they are learning faster, whether it is footwork drills or Poomsae forms.

The Social Bond

With branches across Ulwe, our academy has grown to over 150 students. This group dynamic is intentional. Watching the senior belts help the white belts is a proud moment for me—it teaches them leadership and humility.

Building Confidence

My goal is to create champions, but that starts with a positive mindset. Whether we are training in Sector 2 or Sector 17, the atmosphere remains the same: supportive, respectful, and energetic. We celebrate every small win, from the first time a student lands a proper kick to the day they earn their next belt. This is not just a martial arts class; it is where they build the confidence to handle life, both on and off the mat.

Namaste, I am Tejas Pingale. I don't just teach Taekwondo; I build a family where every student—from my mini-warriors to my seniors—feels they belong. My goal is to see them laugh, learn, and grow stronger together, whether they are on the mats or hanging out after a session.
