About Our Champions: Medals & Milestones
Winning a medal is not luck, it is sweat. Before any tournament, we run specific simulation matches using proper hogu (chest guards) to mimic the pressure. My students do not just learn how to kick; they learn how to handle a win with grace and a loss with the intent to improve for the next time.
Medals are the end result, but the journey starts on the EVA mats at our Ulwe branches. When a student aims for a district or state title, we focus on three pillars: technical precision, tactical sparring, and mental toughness.
In class, we drill Poomsae forms until the movements become muscle memory. But competition requires more. We practice sparring scenarios, teaching students how to read their opponent, manage distance, and execute high-scoring kicks under strict time limits.
I am a 3rd Dan Black Belt and a Maharashtra State Referee, so I teach my students exactly what the officials look for. We cover the rulebook, point scoring, and how to stay calm when the pressure is on. Whether it is the Raigad District Taekwondo Championship or a national event, my goal is to ensure every student steps onto the mat feeling prepared and confident.
We do not just train to participate. We train to bring home trophies. If you are serious about competing, we are ready to build that champion mindset together.
