About Press, Posters & Announcements
You will notice many of these posters are from live stage productions where sound quality is everything. Whether it is an intimate solo recital or a grand group show, we coordinate closely with sound engineers to ensure the acoustics of the ghungroos and live instruments are crisp. If you are planning an event, this technical attention is a non-negotiable part of our setup.
Behind the Posters
Every poster here represents more than just a date on the calendar; it is the culmination of months of riyaaz (practice). From the technical precision required for a performance at NCPA Tata Theatre to the energy of a corporate event, these performances span a wide spectrum. We do not just show up to dance; we curate the music, the ensemble, and the rhythm to fit the specific venue.
What We Bring to the Stage
- Diverse Formats: We perform everywhere from academic conferences for doctors to grand temple centenary celebrations.
- Experimental Spirit: Some of our most rewarding work has been outside the box, like our collaboration with beatboxers to create a rhythmic 'Dal Tadka' fusion.
- Team Collaboration: It takes a village. My dance company works in sync with live percussionists and vocalists to ensure the sawal-jawab (question-answer) between dancer and musician stays authentic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you perform for private events? Yes, we adapt our sets for intimate gatherings and private sangeets as well as large public festivals.
Can we book you for non-traditional venues? We frequently perform at auditoriums, banquet halls, and corporate venues. As long as we have a wooden floor for acoustic clarity, we can make it work.
