About this collection
These posters are not just milestones. They represent the rigorous preparation, rehearsals with my all-women orchestra, and the meaningful collaborations that go into every performance. When you see an announcement here, it is a reflection of the dedicated time and creative energy I pour into ensuring that each production, whether a student debut or a solo festival piece, honors the roots of Bharatanatyam while speaking to the present day.
I often get asked what goes into preparing for a production like 'Maam Pahi' or a student's Arangetram. It starts long before the stage lights go on. It involves coordinating with my musicians, choosing the right repertoire, and often, days of back-to-back studio sessions. My work is anchored in the traditional Margam, yet I enjoy adapting these narratives for modern audiences.
Whether it is a feature in The Indian Express or a showcase at a city festival, my goal remains consistent. I want to build a space where the art is accessible and the storytelling is honest. This gallery is a snapshot of that process. If you are looking for choreography, a solo performance for your event, or guidance for a student's Arangetram, these moments serve as a testament to the reliability and creative rigour I bring to every project. I perform and teach across Bangalore and Chennai, and I welcome conversations about how we can collaborate to bring your vision to the stage.
