Dance is a conversation between music and movement. Here is a glimpse of my work, spanning grand theatrical productions to creative fusion, where every taal tells a story.

This powerful moment is from my production 'Ek Anant', a dance drama based on the Ramayan. Choreographing large-scale theatrical pieces allows me to build entire worlds on stage, using Kathak to explore epic narratives and complex characters.

The energy of collaboration is electric. This is from 'Raag Raagini', my duet production with Bharatanatyam artist Parshwanath Upadhye. The dynamic interplay between two distinct classical forms creates a unique visual and rhythmic dialogue.

The 'chakkar', or spin, is a hallmark of Kathak. This clip shows the synchronicity and power my dance company brings to the stage. This is a 'paran', a technical composition set to the powerful rhythm of the pakhawaj.

This is a glimpse of 'Tu Jhoom', a piece where I explored the beautiful intersection of Sufi poetry and Kathak. The choreography aims to capture the spiritual ecstasy and grace inherent in Sufi philosophy through the vocabulary of Kathak.

We create bespoke performances for prestigious corporate events. This was for a Republic Day celebration for the State Bank of India, where my team and I presented a specially choreographed piece that was both traditional and engaging for the occasion.

The magic of a performance is born in the studio. This is a glimpse into my 'riyaaz' or practice session, where the 'sawal-jawab' (question-answer) between me, the musicians, and the rhythm takes shape. This is where the choreography truly breathes.

Choreography can be found anywhere, even in the kitchen. In a fun collaboration with beatboxer Avinash Tewari, we created a piece demonstrating the recipe for Dal Tadka using only Kathak movements and beatboxing sounds.

I also bring my expertise in movement and expression to the world of cinema. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at my choreography work for the film 'Pune Highway', where I guided the actors to bring authenticity to their physical performances.

About Featured

When we design a performance, the choreography is only half the work; the real foundation is the sawal-jawab (question-answer) between the dancer and the musicians. Whether it is a corporate event or a theatrical production, we spend hours in the studio ensuring our costumes and stage movements sync perfectly with live Tabla and Sitar arrangements before we ever step on stage.
