I don't just choreograph steps; I build narratives. My work blends traditional Bharatanatyam with scholarly inquiry, creating pieces that connect the past, present, and the stories we need to tell today.

A moment of synchronized grace from my production 'Ikshana', a large-scale ensemble piece that uses Bharatanatyam to explore the narrative of climate change. This is an example of how I approach full-show production, from concept to stage.

The core of my production 'Pehchaan' is an exploration of identity. This solo performance moment captures the intensity of using abhinaya, or expressive storytelling, to ask complex questions about who we are as artists and individuals.

Fusing Bharatanatyam with Western classical music, this collaboration with flautist Samuel Bricault explores the parallels between Greek and Indian mythology. This piece, inspired by Debussy's 'Syrinx', shows my passion for multidisciplinary and experimental dance projects.

Art as inquiry. This is a shot from my photo-narrative 'The Creation of a Goddess', which examines the process of idol making in Kumartuli and its parallels with the construction of female identity. It reflects my approach to using dance and performance for philosophical exploration.

Beyond the stage, I engage in academic discourse. Here, I was invited by the National Institute of Disaster Management and Sangeet Natak Akademi to speak on using performing arts for climate action, sharing the research and process behind 'Ikshana'.

A glimpse into the global music album 'Sounds of Kumbha', a project that blended spiritual sounds with classical dance. My choreography for this collaboration aimed to capture the essence of a deeply cultural event through movement.

The heart of my work is collaboration. This is a moment of shared joy and creativity with my team in the studio. I believe the best art is born from a process that is both rigorous and deeply connected.

About Featured

When you commission a project, we aren't just selecting music. I dedicate the first phase to research, whether it involves analyzing Sangam poetry or coordinating with live musicians, to ensure the movement genuinely serves the narrative. If you are looking for a performance that moves beyond the surface and asks questions, we will be a good fit.
