My Running Journey and the Enkinetik Approach

Running isn't just my profession; it is a core part of my practice. Here is a glimpse into my own running life and the team that keeps me and my clients moving across Delhi.

My goal is to educate every person I see at my clinic so they can be a more capable version of themselves. Consistency and making time for your wellbeing are the keys to sustainable change.

I may not always run fast or far, but I am a runner. This sport has become a core part of my routine and my life.

Every finish line is just the beginning of a new race. Here I am, enjoying the moment during the Apollo Tyres New Delhi Marathon.

Getting back to running after an ankle fracture was not easy, but you have to do what you have to do. Celebrating a finish at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon.

That post-race medal smile. A great feeling after the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon to re-energize for the week ahead.

Did you know the old practice of biting medals was to verify if they were genuine gold? A little bit of Sunday trivia after a race.

Sweat, smiles, and miles. Slow progress is still progress. Happy to be holding another finisher medal.

About this collection

When I line up at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, I’m not just there to run; I’m testing the same recovery and load management protocols I recommend in the clinic. My own training isn't just about hitting miles—it's about practicing the 10% rule and disciplined strength work. Seeing me on the track means you're working with a physio who understands the specific physical tax of running, from the biomechanics of your stride to the reality of post-race fatigue.

Running alongside my clients at events like the SuperSikh Run or the Delhi Half Marathon isn't just a hobby. It’s my field work. When you see me at the finish line, you aren't just seeing a runner; you're seeing a sports physiotherapist who understands exactly how your body feels at kilometer 15.

At Enkinetik Performance Clinic, we don’t just treat injuries in a sterile room. We live the running lifestyle. By experiencing the impact, the fatigue, and the euphoria of a long run, I can better assess the biomechanics of my runners. This is why our 3D gait analysis is so effective—it turns the subjective 'I feel tired' into objective data about your pelvic loading and symmetry.

Why the 'Runner-Physio' Approach Works

  • Real-World Empathy: I know what stiff calves feel like after a race because I’ve felt them. This helps me tailor rehab that actually works for your specific training schedule.
  • Data-Driven Practice: Whether it’s marathon prep or recovering from a stress fracture, we use science—like the 80/20 rule—to guide your training volume and prevent overuse.
  • Community Focus: Running is better together. Our clinic is deeply embedded in the Delhi running community, collaborating with trainers and athletes to foster a smarter, safer running culture.

If you’re stuck in a cycle of injury or simply want to improve your efficiency, stop guessing and start measuring your movement. Let's look at your mechanics so you can run longer and stronger.
