The OMCF Experience: Coaching & Community
At Once More CrossFit, we view training as a partnership. Whether you are chasing a new PR or just starting your journey, my goal is to teach you how to move with intent. Here, we build strength together.
The Burgener warm-up is a staple for teaching the snatch, but it quickly reveals your weaknesses when the coach is watching. We use drills like this in every class to build a solid foundation for more complex lifts.
Here I am taking the class through the finer points of the split jerk. We break down every movement, from grip to footwork, and explain the 'why' behind our cues so you understand how to move more efficiently.
It's an absolute treat to witness two great lifts in an excellent environment. Seeing members hit a 102kg and 91kg lift is a reflection of their hard work and the supportive energy in the gym. We celebrate every PR.
This is a look into my own training and programming. After coaching classes, I put in my own work, like these Z presses. This was the final week of a mesocycle, a structured block of training designed to achieve a specific goal.
I was so happy to help bring the Bangalore CrossFit community together for the Battle of the Fittest 2.0. It's always great to connect with other affiliate owners and celebrate our shared passion for fitness.
About The OMCF Experience: Coaching & Community
You won't find endless, confusing cues here. My coaching philosophy is built on fixing one thing at a time. Whether we are drilling your split jerk or adjusting your squat depth, we use real-time video feedback to break down every movement. You leave every session with a clear understanding of what you did right and exactly what needs to change for the next set.
When you walk into our K. Narayanapura studio, you will notice one thing immediately: it is a raw, high-ceiling industrial warehouse. We do not have AC, but we have everything else you need for serious training. My approach is simple: we show up, grind, and focus on the process.
I have learned that the best coaching avoids the 'verbal diarrhea of cues' that happens when you try to fix too much at once. We break complex movements like the snatch or clean and jerk into manageable segments. If you are struggling, we scale. Scaling is not a crime here; it is the smartest way to progress without injury.
This is a community first, gym second. We celebrate PRs, but we also celebrate the social side of training—food debates after class, road trips, and the shared effort of a tough workout.
If you are coming back from an injury, we take a careful, doctor-cleared approach to rebuild your foundation. If you are an experienced lifter, we use structured 4-week blocks to help you break through plateaus. Whatever your level, we focus on movement quality over ego. Come in for a single technical consultation session to see how we work, or jump into a 12-session performance package to commit to the process. We are here to get better, one rep at a time.
Once More CrossFit
I am Kaustav, and for me, fitness is about more than just numbers on a barbell. I focus on building a community where we support each other’s growth, whether you are a beginner or looking to hit a new PR. We keep the gym atmosphere grounded, focused, and occasionally loud.
