We start them young. Here's a look at our kids' program, where we teach more than just fighting. This is about building a child's confidence, focus, and self-defense skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Teaching kids is about building courage. It's not about removing fear, but about learning to push through it. Here, I'm working with a young student on basic BJJ stances and grips, helping him build bravery one step at a time.
This is our youngest personal training client. Teaching children requires a different approach, focusing on developing innate skills and enabling them to take charge of their circumstances.
It's incredible to see family train together. These twin sisters are a perfect example, pushing each other and sharpening their technique on the mats. When you train with family, you build a bond that goes beyond the gym.
About Kids Program: Forging Future Warriors
We don’t just throw kids into sparring matches. We start by working on movement, body awareness, and basic BJJ stances to help them develop innate skills. The goal isn’t to force them to memorize complex techniques, but to release built-up inhibitions and teach them to take charge of their immediate environment, whether they’re facing a bully or just feeling unsure.

Martial arts is often misunderstood as aggressive. At OctaFit, we see it as a tool for character building. Our kids' program for ages 6–14 in JP Nagar is built on discipline, focus, and mental toughness.

We focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and mixed martial arts to help kids understand leverage and control rather than brute force. This ensures that even the smallest child learns how to neutralize a situation. We emphasize:
- Bully-Proofing: Teaching kids to maintain posture and keep their cool when challenged.
- Coordination: Developing athletic fundamentals that help in other sports, too.
- Courage: We normalize the feeling of fear and show them how to push through it.
The No-Gimmick Approach

Our gym is a warehouse space, not a pristine, climate-controlled facility, because we believe the grit developed here translates to real life.
