Our Design Process: From Sketch to Real Home
For us, design does not start with software or mood boards. It starts with a pen, paper, and a conversation. We sketch to think, to explore your story, and to map out a space that truly feels like yours.
For us, everything begins with a sketch. It is our way of thinking, of giving form to an idea as it evolves. These initial drawings for an artist's studio show the journey from a loose concept to a more defined architectural plan, long before any software is opened.

These are early layout explorations for the Capsul retail store. We use collaborative sketching sessions to quickly iterate on different spatial configurations, figuring out the best way to organize flow, display, and experience before committing to a final plan.
About Our Process: From Sketch to Site
Before we ever open a 3D software program, we sit with you to hand-draw the layout. This is where we work out the logic, like why a courtyard belongs here or why this wall needs to be moved. By drawing together, you see the reasoning behind the layout before a single brick is laid, ensuring your home is built around your life, not a template.
We treat sketching as our spontaneous music. It is the most honest way to test an idea. When you see a hand-drawn axonometric sketch, you are not looking at a polished render that hides reality. You are seeing the skeleton of your future home. This phase of latent needs analysis is where we figure out the flow, the light, and the practical constraints of your site.
Why we use this process:
- Clarity: It demystifies the design-and-build process. You understand the spatial logic immediately.
- Collaboration: We iterate quickly. If a wall does not feel right, we erase it and draw it again, right in front of you.
- Execution: These sketches are not just for show. They form the basis for our site teams, ensuring that the final execution matches the initial vision.
Whether we are renovating a heritage home in Indiranagar or planning a new villa on the outskirts of Bengaluru, this process ensures that the soul of the design is not lost in translation from the studio to the construction site. It is how we bridge the gap between your imagination and physical reality.
