Nrithyakuteera is more than a dance school; it is a second home where we celebrate birthdays, go on treks, and grow together as a family.
We are Bharatanatyam dancers, and this is our life. From spending hours getting ready to our guru never being satisfied with our adavus, it’s a journey of discipline, fun, and sisterhood. Here at NK, we work hard but also share so much laughter.

About Our 'NK Family': Beyond the Dance Floor
At Nrithyakuteera, dance is just one part of the journey. When you join us, you are not just signing up for a class—you are becoming part of our 'NK family.' Whether it is our breakfast treks, impromptu reels, or simply having a space where you can be yourself, we ensure our studio is a place where you feel supported both on and off the dance floor.
When I started Nrithyakuteera over two decades ago, I wanted to create a space where my students, my 'makla' (kids), could grow as dancers and as people. Our bond goes far beyond the rhythm of the talam. We celebrate every milestone together, whether it is a student's birthday or our 'bettadamele breakfast' treks where we leave the ghungroo behind for a while.
We provide structured training in the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam, but our classroom environment is deliberately supportive. Our senior students, our 'akkas', look out for the juniors, creating a culture of mentorship that lasts long after the class ends. This is a place where we take our adavus seriously, but also where we find time to laugh and make reels.
We operate in JP Nagar 8th Phase and Chamrajpet in Bengaluru, with batches for everyone from young beginners to busy professionals and homemakers.
