About Behind the Scenes: Fun & Community
Beyond the intense rehearsals and strict adherence to the ABGMVM syllabus, we truly believe in 'masti'. From our impromptu dance rehearsals on long train journeys to national competitions, to the post-class fun where we break into trendy music just to unwind, our studio in Noida Sector 82 becomes a second home where friendships bloom as much as our dance skills do.
While the discipline of Bharatanatyam requires focus and technical precision, the heart of our Gurukul is the bond we share. We believe that a dancer who is happy and connected to their community performs with much more soul.
The Gurukul Spirit
Our classes are structured—we divide sessions into body conditioning, core practicals, and theory—but we balance this with laughter. Whether it is balancing cups on our heads for a fun reel or simply sharing a meal after a long performance, these moments are vital. They help students shed their inhibitions, which directly translates into better expression and abhinaya on stage.
