I reimagine classic Indian festive sweets using French pâtisserie techniques. From Baklava Tarts to Knafeh Bonbons, these are balanced, handcrafted treats designed for gifting or sharing this Diwali.

This Diwali, I'm reinventing Indian mithais with French techniques. After months of passionate work, I'm excited to bring you seven unique delights that capture the essence of the festival in every bite.

Introducing my Baklava Tart, a dessert that blends Mediterranean charm with Indian sweetness. It's filled with premium nuts, infused with cardamom and saffron, and drizzled with honey.

A beautiful shot of my Baklava Tart, topped with delicate rose petals. It's a centerpiece-worthy dessert for any Diwali celebration.

Watch the making of my luxurious Baklava Truffles. I use high-quality dry fruits and my in-house phyllo pastry, all wrapped in smooth chocolate with a hint of orange.

My Baklava Truffles are a bite-sized version of the classic dessert, blending crunchy nuts and honey with rich chocolate, finished with a touch of edible silver.

My Raspberry Pistachio Florentines are an elegant addition to any Diwali gift box. They blend pistachios, almonds, and raspberries, all topped with rich chocolate.

These are my Knafeh Bonbons, a unique fusion dessert perfect for Diwali. They capture the essence of the traditional Middle Eastern sweet in a beautiful, bite-sized chocolate bonbon.

About this collection

When I started working on this Diwali collection, my primary goal was to balance the richness of traditional mithai with the refinement of French pâtisserie. Indian sweets often lean heavily on sugar, so I focus on using high-quality nuts, natural honey, and tempered Belgian chocolate to create complex, layered flavours rather than just simple sweetness. This approach ensures every piece feels light, sophisticated, and perfectly suited for a festive spread.

The Architecture of Festive Flavour

My background in architecture influences how I approach these desserts. I view a Knafeh Bonbon or a Raspberry Pistachio Florentine not just as a sweet, but as a structure that needs to hold texture and flavour in perfect harmony.

Highlights from the Collection

  • Baklava Tarts: I blend Mediterranean tradition with Indian sweetness, filling a crisp tart shell with a mix of premium almonds, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts, then infusing it with cardamom and saffron.
  • Knafeh Bonbons: These capture the essence of Middle Eastern sweets in a bite-sized chocolate format, perfect for guests.
  • Chickpea Chocolate: One of my favourite innovations, this combines the earthy, roasted notes of chickpeas with smooth, tempered chocolate and edible silver, proving that festive sweets can be both unique and indulgent.
  • Raspberry Pistachio Florentines: A delicate balance of fruit, nuts, and dark chocolate that brings a modern French aesthetic to your Diwali gift box.

Gifting with Intention

Whether you need to curate a corporate gift hamper or simply want something distinctive for your own Diwali table, these treats are designed for presentation. I package everything in rigid, custom boxes to ensure they arrive at your venue or home in Bangalore looking as elegant as they taste. If you are looking for specific dietary preferences, I can also discuss our eggless variations for many of these items. Every box is built to order, so let's chat about what you need for your celebration.
