I am always experimenting in my kitchen. Here is a look at the fresh, creative, and sometimes spontaneous dishes I have been cooking lately.

A simple potato and meat curry simmering in a pot. Delicious food is happiness.

A simple dal or lentil soup, a staple in many of my meals.

A mix of boiled vegetables, a healthy and simple side dish.

A simple thali with fish, beef innards, and boiled greens.

About Miscellaneous Dishes

Because I only cook in small batches based on what is fresh, these experimental dishes are not always on my permanent menu. If you see something here that catches your eye, like my Amsu porridge or a specific veggie stir-fry, just send me a message to see if I can whip it up for you.

My kitchen philosophy is simple: if it is fresh and it makes me happy, I cook it. This cluster is where I share the dishes that fall outside my regular rotation of thalis and curries. You will find everything from quick breakfast ideas to creative ways I use leftovers, like my Amsu, a traditional porridge I make from leftover beef curry. I believe that delicious food comes from spontaneity. I often source ingredients from my own kitchen garden or wait for fresh produce to arrive from Nagaland before deciding what to cook. This means you might find me making a simple dal with fresh herbs one day, or a complex meat-based side the next. If you are a fan of authentic Naga flavors and want to try something beyond the standard menu, keep an eye on this space. Whether you are craving the sour-bitter punch of fresh bamboo shoot in a vegetable stew or want to try a new way to enjoy smoked pork, my door is open. All meals are prepared in my Koramangala home kitchen. Since I do not operate a restaurant, everything is made to order. If you have a specific ingredient in mind or want to try one of these experimental dishes, reach out and we can plan your meal.
