Olympic lifting isn't about how much you can lift today—it's about the technical precision you build to hit new PRs safely. At Barbellhouse in RR Nagar, we break down these complex movements so you can train with confidence.

A Friday training session with the Barbellhouse weightlifting team. Here you can see athletes at different stages working on their snatch and clean techniques. I provide direct coaching and use cues like 'Barle' (Come) to encourage speed under the bar.

This montage shows our weightlifting team in action, practicing various components of the snatch and clean. We focus on everything from the initial pull to the final overhead lockout.

We are one of the best centers in Bangalore to learn Olympic weightlifting. This video shows the focused environment where athletes can learn the snatch and clean and jerk under the guidance of a national-level lifter.

About Mastering Olympic Lifts: Snatch and Clean & Jerk

Before you ever touch a heavy barbell, we spend time on your mobility and technique using PVC pipes and empty bars. Whether you’re learning your first snatch or fine-tuning your clean and jerk, I watch your bar path and triple extension in real-time. We don't rush the weight; we master the movement first so you can stay injury-free.

Why Olympic Weightlifting?

The snatch and the clean & jerk are the ultimate tests of coordination, speed, and explosive power. Many people come into the gym wanting to go heavy immediately, but without a solid foundation, you’re just setting yourself up for frustration. My approach is different.

My Coaching Philosophy

I started weightlifting at 22, and I faced every challenge a late starter encounters. That’s why my coaching is about more than just numbers on a plate—it’s about the mental fight of 'You vs You'.

  • Technical Breakdown: We drill the basics of the snatch and clean & jerk until they are automatic.
  • Real-Time Analysis: We use video analysis to fix your bar path, footwork, and catch positions.
  • Periodization: Whether you are a beginner or prepping for a state-level meet, I structure your training cycles to ensure you hit your peak during 1RM tests.

I started weightlifting at 22, so I know the grind it takes to master these movements. I built Barbellhouse to be the raw, focused space where we push past limits, not just lift heavy weights. Jai Hanuman, let’s get to work.
