About Additional Work & Challenges
At SEM Fitness Academy, we do not train for vanity. We train for function. Whether you are grinding through rowing conditioning at a specific RPE or participating in our community challenges, every movement is tracked. We are not here to sell you a quick fix. We are here to help you understand your own physiological limits and build strength that lasts.
Our training environment in Dwarka is designed for those who actually want to work. You will see us using equipment like Assault AirBikes, rowing machines, and heavy barbells because they deliver results, not because they are trendy. We use concepts like RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) and controlled tempo to ensure you are training smarter, not just harder.
When we run a 'One-Minute Squat Challenge', it is not just for social media engagement. It is a benchmark. It tests your breathing, your depth, and your mental resilience under fatigue. We look for technical proficiency even when you are tired. If you are doing a rep that does not go below the knee, we correct it. That is the difference between learning proper technique and just going through the motions.
Our programs for CrossFit, functional strength, and Olympic weightlifting are built on these exact principles. We focus on the concentric and eccentric phases of a lift, proper hook grip technique, and recovery protocols.
