About this collection
You don't need to be an artist to make a beautiful idol. In this session, I break down the sculpting process into simple, manageable steps, so even a complete beginner walks away with a Ganesha they are proud to worship. We use natural clay that is completely eco-friendly and dissolves easily, making this a mindful and sustainable way to bring Bappa home.
Why Sculpt Your Own Ganesha?
Choosing to create your own Ganesha idol using natural clay is a powerful way to connect with the essence of Ganesh Chaturthi. It shifts the festival experience from buying a product to performing a creative act of devotion. Plus, it is a conscious step toward sustainability; our clay idols dissolve harmlessly in water, unlike the store-bought Plaster of Paris (PoP) alternatives that harm our local water bodies.
What You Will Learn
I design these sessions to be entirely stress-free. Whether you are a parent looking for a screen-free activity for your kids or an adult needing a creative break, I provide all the materials and guidance needed. We focus on the basics of clay sculpting, teaching you how to shape the trunk, ears, and form, step by step. You do not need any prior experience in clay modeling or sculpting to join.
