About Festive Fun: Ganesha & Diwali Workshops
For our Ganesha workshops, we use pure Shadu clay and strictly avoid moulds. You will learn the basics of hand-sculpting from scratch, so by the time you leave, you will have a 5-6 inch idol that is 100% water-soluble and ready for Visarjan at home.
Whether it is for Ganesha Chaturthi or Diwali, my goal is to help you create something meaningful with your own hands. We do not use moulds; instead, we go back to basics with pinching, rolling, and sculpting. This means every idol is genuinely one-of-a-kind.
Our Ganesha workshops are designed to be a two-day process. The first day is for sculpting the form, and the second is for painting once the clay has dried. It is a meditative process that helps you focus and unwind, which is exactly what the festive season should be about. If you are joining us for Diwali workshops, we focus on festive decor like lanterns and platters, using materials that look vibrant but are easy to work with even for beginners.
I host these sessions across my studios in Prabhadevi, Powai, and Thane. Because I keep my batch sizes small, you get the individual attention you need to get the features of your Ganesha or the intricate details of a lantern just right. You do not need to be an artist to join; you just need to be willing to get your hands a little muddy. All materials are included, so just bring yourself and your family.
