About Eco-Friendly Ganpati Idol Making
The secret to a long-lasting idol is how you join the clay pieces together. We focus heavily on teaching you to merge the clay properly so your Bappa does not crack or break while drying, ensuring your eco-friendly sculpture stays perfect.
We have been hosting these sculpting workshops for over 13 years across our centers in Dadar, Thane, and Ghatkopar. When you join, you work with natural Shadu Mati, an eco-friendly clay that is gentle on your skin and the environment.
Whether you are a beginner or have tried clay work before, we simplify the process into manageable steps. You will learn everything from creating a solid base to sculpting the finer details like the modak and the turban. We often conduct these sessions in societies and schools, which helps us share this tradition with a wider community.
Why choose our workshops?
- Traditional Materials: We use only authentic Shadu Mati, which is biodegradable and ideal for visarjan.
- Technique Focused: You learn structural basics like coiling and patching, which are essential for any clay sculpture.
- Inclusive Environment: We welcome participants from ages 4 to 70. Our batch sizes ensure that every student gets the attention they need to fix joints and smooth out surfaces.
If you are worried about your skill level, do not be. We believe that art is for everyone, and our goal is to help you feel confident enough to create something you are proud to display at home during Ganesh Chaturthi.
