Our Cozy Rooftop Pottery Studio in Whitefield
Welcome to my happy place. It is a peaceful, open-air rooftop escape where we slow down, breathe, and turn clay into memories.
A proud and happy moment watching my students glazing their beautiful creations. My bright and airy studio is the perfect place to learn and grow on your pottery journey.

A look back at the lovely moments and beautiful memories made at the studio. It’s more than just a place to learn pottery, it’s a community space filled with warmth and creativity.
The peaceful Diwali vibes at my studio. A simple light can make the space feel so magical and serene. This is the calm and happy atmosphere I love to share with everyone who visits.
Simple, sun-kissed bowls waiting to be fired. I love how the natural light in my studio plays with the shapes and shadows of the clay pieces.

About Our Cozy Rooftop Studio
Our rooftop studio is open-air, so we work with the breeze and natural light instead of air conditioning. Please come prepared for a rustic, comfortable space where you might get a little dusty—it is just part of the process. This is a place to step away from your screens, slow down, and actually feel the clay as you shape it.
A Space Built for Connection
When I started Mud Effects nine years ago, I wanted to create more than just a classroom. I wanted a community space. Our rooftop studio in Whitefield is intentionally set up to be a quiet, creative refuge from the noise of the city. We have exposed brick walls, plenty of plants, and a lot of natural light that makes the whole space feel grounded and alive.
What to Expect
Whether you are joining us for a solo session or a group event, the vibe remains the same: relaxed and personal.
- The Atmosphere: We are a non-AC studio. This means we are naturally ventilated, which can get warm during the afternoons, but that is part of the charm of working with clay under the sky.
- The Process: After you finish your piece, it does not go home with you immediately. We need to dry, trim, and fire it in our kiln. This process takes 3 to 5 weeks to ensure your work is food-safe and durable. Once it is ready, you can come back and collect your creation.
- Who is this for? Everyone. We host corporate teams from companies like Google and SAP, friends looking for a weekend activity, and individuals just needing some 'me time'.
If you have never touched clay before, do not worry. I am here to guide you through every step, from wedging the clay to shaping it on the wheel or by hand. It is not about making a masterpiece; it is about the joy of making something with your own two hands. ❤️
