Every year, I open my studio doors to welcome Bappa. Come spend a few hours with me, slowing down to hand-sculpt your very own eco-friendly Ganesha idol.

The feeling in the studio during our Ganesha workshops is pure magic. This video captures the devotion and creativity from last year's sessions as we prepared to welcome Bappa.

I was so happy and grateful when The Hindu featured our Ganesha idol making workshop. It’s a joy to share this beautiful tradition with so many families and individuals across Bangalore.

This is the Ganesha idol I hand-sculpted for 2024. Making my own Bappa every year fills me with peace and happiness. It's a tradition that gives me so much strength.

One of my own Ganesha idols, captured in a moment of peace. The process of sculpting him is a form of meditation for me, a truly happy moment.

The proud smile of a participant holding the beautiful Ganesha idol she made with her own hands. Taking home your own handmade, eco-friendly Ganesha is a truly special feeling.

About this collection

This isn't about being an expert; it's about the calm that comes from working with mud. I personally guide you through the process, from handling the raw clay to sculpting the finer details of the idol, ensuring you leave with a piece that feels like your own.

There is a unique kind of peace in sculpting your own Bappa. Every year, as Ganesha Chaturthi approaches, my rooftop studio in Whitefield transforms into a space of quiet devotion and creative joy. Whether you have never touched clay before or you enjoy working with your hands, this session is meant for everyone.

We focus on the traditional, eco-friendly way of making idols. This means we use raw, natural clay that is gentle on the earth. You don't need to bring anything or worry about 'getting it right.' I will show you how to structure the idol, add the features, and give it the character you want.

These sessions are perfect for families, friends, or even if you want a few hours of solitary meditation. It is a slow, thoughtful process that helps you disconnect from the rush of the city. We play music, we share stories, and by the end of the session, you have an idol that you’ve created from scratch.

Since we use natural, unbaked clay, you can take your Ganesha home the same day to dry. It is a beautiful way to welcome the festival and makes the celebration feel so much more personal. I cannot wait to see what you create this year.
