Contemporary & Ballet Training Studio Sessions
My classes are a lab for movement exploration. We move beyond simple steps to build genuine technique, strength, and flow.
Practice doesn't make perfect, it makes improvement. In my classes, we focus on progress, not perfection, through consistent training in ballet, flow acrobatics, and contemporary techniques.
Training time with my core team. Here, we are working on an across the floor flow acrobatics sequence, designed for trained dancers looking to upgrade their skills.
We focus on more than just choreography. My contemporary batch learns the core techniques and principles of modern dance, which allows us to create fresh and original movement combinations.
A look at our strength training session. We focus on building core stability and body awareness, which is the foundation for all advanced contemporary movement.
This is a flow combination for my intermediate batch. If you have a foundation in contemporary basics, you can join this performance batch to explore new possibilities.
A look inside our regular contemporary classes. We cover everything from floorwork and across the floor combinations to partner work and ballet fundamentals.
This is my special potential batch, for students who are ready to take their training to the next level. We also have beginners batches for those just starting their journey.
About this collection
We spend a lot of time on the floor, literally. If you are used to standing-only classes, prepare to shift your weight and work your core in new ways. This is not about perfectly memorizing steps in an hour; it is about the conditioning and technical adjustments—ballet basics, spinal alignment, and strength—that eventually make you a stronger, more fluid mover.
It is not a gym, but I treat my studio time with that level of discipline. My sessions are built on a foundation of Ballet basics, Cunningham technique, and physical theatre, but we quickly move into the messier, more exciting stuff like Flying Low and Flow Acrobatics.
I teach because I want to see you find your own voice, not just mimic a sequence. Whether we are in JP Nagar or HSR Layout, the focus is the same: alignment, awareness, and muscle memory. You will not find perfectly polished, pre-packaged steps here. You will find rehearsals that are gritty, honest, and designed to make you sweat. We record sessions, we break down movements, and we drill until the technique becomes second nature.
If you are looking for a comfortable hobby class, this might be a challenge. But if you want to understand how your body actually talks through movement, come join the floor. We are here to get better, not just to look good. We keep the groups intimate so I can provide the direct, constructive feedback that actually changes how you dance.
Suraj
I am Suraj. For me, dance is a conversation with the body. Whether we are working on Ballet lines or getting messy with floorwork, I am just here to help you unlock the movement that already lives inside you.
